This is where you'll find information about our upcoming community events, family activities, volunteer opportunities, and special programs throughout the year. Our events are designed to bring people together, strengthen our communities, and create positive experiences for children and families.

🍦 Ice Cream with Dads

Ice Cream With Dads is one of Dads Against Crime's signature family events, held every year on the last Saturday in May. This community celebration brings fathers, father figures, and children together for an afternoon of fun, laughter, and free ice cream.

The event is designed to encourage fathers to spend quality time with their children while creating lasting memories in a positive, family-friendly environment. Families can enjoy games, activities, music, and opportunities to connect with other community members.

Whether you're a dad, stepdad, grandfather, uncle, mentor, or father figure, we invite you to celebrate the importance of strong families and meaningful relationships.

We look forward to seeing you every year on the last Saturday in May!

🎄 Christmas in July

Christmas in July is one of Dads Against Crime's signature summer celebrations. This fun-filled community event brings families together for a day of games, entertainment, food, giveaways, and activities that capture the joy of the Christmas season—even in the middle of summer.

Our goal is to create positive experiences for children and families while bringing the community together in a safe and welcoming environment.

🎁 Christmas Adoption Program

Every year, Dads Against Crime's Christmas Adoption Program helps families facing financial hardship by providing Christmas gifts for their children.

Applications for families typically open on September 1, and community members, churches, businesses, and organizations can sponsor children, adopt families, or make donations to help make Christmas morning special.

Together, we are able to bring hope, joy, and smiles to children throughout our community during the holiday season.

Together, we pause to consider our goals, hopes, and direction. This is about aligning with ourselves and with the journey ahead. This is a chance to reconnect with what brought you here—your questions, your hopes, your turning points—and consider how they’ve shifted or deepened.

How It Works

  • Browse our upcoming events to find the one that feels right for you. We host events year-round in all different locations and climates.

  • Sign up and pay all required fees to reserve your spot. If plans change, you can cancel up to 14 days before the retreat start to receive a 50% refund.

  • After booking, we'll send you a Welcome Packet with everything you need to know—detailed schedules, packing list recommendations, add-ons to consider, and more.

  • We'd recommend booking your transportation to and from the event as soon as possible, to ensure you can arrive without any complications or delays.

  • Now all that's left to do is pack your bags and get excited for your new adventure.
